A vida travesti brota como flor no asfalto. Em "Bruta Flor", Travagiu transforma o barulho da violência transfóbica em uma sinfonia de insurgência travesti.
A cinco faixas do EP traçam uma narrativa de queda, crise e superação, que surge a partir da experiência da iminência da morte e do agravamento da precariedade de uma vida travesti no contexto pandêmico.
A experimentação de timbres em sintetizadores nativos do ableton live se transformou na construção de uma estética musical que representasse a luta pela vida plena e autonomia, mas também as angústias e surtos em meio à distopia pandêmica que intensificou as impossibilidades de sobrevivência e o adoecimento mental, especialmente para uma travesti.
"Queda" é o tombo inicial, a história que começa pelo fim e pelo fundo. Um réquiem tecno-industrial, dançante e denso, de (mais) uma morte em vida: o esgotamento, a iminência da doença, o sofrimento social e político.
"Atura" é uma tentativa de resiliência diante do impossível. Uma desfibrilação, uma corrente elétrica que faz o coração voltar a bater, uma tentativa de seguir em frente que inevitavelmente acaba em surto.
"Surta" é um mergulho na ambiência molhada, turva e bizarra de uma crise. Os timbres são oníricos e siderais, enquanto o ritmo é taquicárdico e hiperventilando.
Em "Pulsão" aparece não só o pulso cardíaco do bumbo, mas também as pulsões de vida e morte que movem o corpo e a psique. A bateria é crescentemente dançante e sensual. É o reconhecimento daquilo que (ainda, apesar de) pulsa nos desejos, no corpo e no movimento.
Em "Trívia", chegamos à encruzilhada, esse ponto sagrado de encontro e sobreposição de caminhos. A dicotomia e o binarismo dão espaço às três vias que permitem múltiplos caminhos e respostas. A percussão e as vozes sussurrantes criam um tribal-techno místico, noturno, vívido e irresistível. É o chamado às novas possibilidades de existir.
O EP é construído a partir da sensibilidade, da experiência e da sabedoria travesti. A mixagem e a masterização são de Malka, que tempera as faixas com um sabor rebuscado e agridoce, e serviu um banquete estético.
"Bruta Flor" é a apresentação íntima, voraz e peculiar de Travagiu, e de seu som techno-industrial-experimental que flerta com referências musicais diversas.

"Fall" is the initial fall, the story that begins at the end and at the bottom. A techno-industrial requiem, dancing and dense, of (more) death in life: exhaustion, the imminence of disease, social and political suffering.
"Atura" is an attempt at resilience in the face of the impossible. A defibrillation, an electrical current that makes the heart beat again, an attempt to move on that inevitably ends in an outbreak.
"Surta" is a dip in the wet, cloudy and bizarre ambience of a crisis. The timbres are dreamlike and sidereal, while the rhythm is tachycardia and hyperventilating.
In "Pulsão" appears not only the cardiac pulse of the kick drum, but also the pulsations of life and death that move the body and the psyche. The drums are increasingly dancing and sensual. It is the recognition of what (still, in spite of) pulsates in desires, in the body and in movement.
In "Trivia", we arrive at the crossroads, that sacred point of encounter and overlapping of paths. Dichotomy and binaries give space to the three routes that allow for multiple paths and responses. The percussion and whispering voices create a mystical, nocturnal, vivid and irresistible tribal-techno. It is the call to new possibilities to exist.
The EP is built from sensitivity, experience and travesti wisdom. The mixing and mastering are by Malka, who season the tracks with a rich and bittersweet flavor, and serve an aesthetic feast.
