PCMYK (lê-se pecemique) é diretor de arte e produtor musical autodidata de Vila Velha - Espírito Santo. Sua transição para São Paulo foi marcada pela fusão natural de suas influências da infância com as que tinha acabado de encontrar. Nomes como The Chemical Brothers, Lasgo, Cascada (entre outros) somados à sonoridade excêntrica da noite paulistana deram forma ao estilo do capixaba - que lançou seu primeiro EP em 2019. Com foco claro em faixas dançantes, PCMYK não se prende a um gênero específico - característica evidente em suas produções que ganham vida nas entrelinhas do techno, house e trance.

Abelha cachorra. O mel é agradável por cima da língua. O vôo está parado e perto do rosto. O zumbido é agudo e penetra o ouvido. A frequência é garantida e indesejada. O ferrão é ausente mas a curiosidade é atrevida - e termina em picada.

Dividido em 4 faixas complementares, o EP Abelha Cachorra é um comentário sobre a repetição que cada um elege para si. Está ligado ao que nos atormenta de forma constante. Nos 23 minutos de duração as características mais notáveis desse projeto são os grooves pulsantes, os vocais divertidos e os timbres sintéticos - contendo samples de Gal Costa, Nicolas Jaar e Marcel Duchamp - sons de equipamentos eletrônicos e animais, além da percussão clássica de drum machines como Roland 707, 808 e 909.

PCMYK (pecemique) is a self-taught art director and music producer from Vila Velha - Espírito Santo. His transition to São Paulo was marked by the natural fusion of his childhood influences with those he had just encountered. Names such as The Chemical Brothers, Lasgo, Cascada (among others) added to the eccentric sound of São Paulo's nightlife shaped the style of the capixaba - who released his first EP in 2019. With a clear focus on dance tracks, PCMYK doesn't stick to a specific genre - a characteristic evident in his productions that come to life between the lines of techno, house and trance.


ABELHA CACHORRA release: The honey is pleasant on the tongue. The flight is still and close to the face. The buzzing is sharp and pierces the ear. The frequency is guaranteed and unwanted. The sting is absent but the curiosity is bold - and ends in a sting.
Abelha Cachorra is the irresistible buzz of the dance floor. It's the groove that wanders restlessly.
It's the beat of the wing. It's the honey that melts and crystallizes.
When you get home from the party, there might be a dog bee in the kitchen.
Divided into 4 complementary tracks, the Abelha Cachorra EP is a commentary on the repetition that everyone chooses for themselves. It's linked to what constantly torments us. In its 24 minutes, the most notable characteristics of this project are the pulsating grooves, the playful vocals and the synthetic timbres - containing samples from Gal Costa, Nicolas Jaar and Marcel Duchamp - the sounds of electronic equipment and animals, as well as the classic percussion of the Roland 707, 808 and 909 drum machines.
